Dr. Caine chose optometry because she wanted to work in the medical field and has been interested in the anatomy of eyes since childhood. Her approach to care is inspired by Mary Oliver, who writes: "I believe in kindness. Also in mischief. Also in singing, especially when singing is not necessarily prescribed." In her free time, Dr. Caine enjoys spending time with her cat, true crime stories, crafting, and all things cat-related. She is involved in several organizations, including the ASPCA, AOA, WOA, animal rescues, and End the Backlog.
