General Info
Welcome to Sumner Veterinary Hospital When you adopted your pet, you did more than just welcome him or her into your home. You made a special place within your heart. Now you share a bond like no other. That little guy or gal is not just an animal, but an integral part of your family. At Sumner Veterinary Hospital, we understand the depth of love you have for your animal companion and try to match that compassion in every interaction. In fact, we share the very same bond with our own furry, feathered or scale-covered friends. You see, before we are vets, technicians, assistants and receptionists, we are pet parents, plain and simple. That's what makes treating our patients with gentle, loving care so easy.

Took my sick puppy in due to she was not wanting to drink or eat and walking funny. So they did a parvo test and it came back posatev I only had the dog for a week and they told me it was from the breeder.so from there I said to do what ever they had to to save her no matter the cost I said I have the money to cover what ever it is. They where very rude to me and the doctor on the night shift is so lazy he did nothing for my puppy and they take forever to do anything my puppy was in there for 4 days and I get a call to come down they said she's a little worse but we can keep going I was forced to put her down they had told me they stopped her treatment due to they didn't want to rack up my bill if I was going to plan on putting her down so she was not on any meds for 4 hours before they called me and she looked so sad. The doctor told me I need to hurry up and make my mind up due to she had a dog in waiting to be seen. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!
My little dog would have died had it not been for Sumner Veterinary Hospital. He was in critical condition with no diagnosis. They worked around the clock to find the cause. He had a shunt so his liver was not filtering his blood. They sent him to a surgeon in Kirkand, Seattle Veterinary Specialists, where they saved his life. I have had Dr. Sheeran as my vet since 1995. Yes they are more expensive, but you get quality care for your pet. Oh, be sure and buy VPI insurance for your pets......So worth it!!

Was not impressed at all. Fees and holiday policies were not fully disclosed up front and one of our dogs was severely ill from kennel cough upon return which ended in an expensive ER run late one night. The facility was filthy and over crowded...go on the tour BEFORE you board your dogs here and make your own decision.

This place ROCKS! It's the greatest.. Go talk to Amanda (groomer), Shanan or Deb. They know everything.. or can find the answerTook great care of my pets.. And always made me feel welcome
Had 3 pets stay at this facility for a few nights and was charged for flea treatment on one when she didn't have any fleas and was on a monthly program already.
