Based in Chicago, Ill., Access Community Health Network is one of the largest primary health care providers in the Chicagoland area serving the underserved population. As one of the leading community health center organizations in the United States, it specializes in dental care, general health care, HIV services, substance abuse services, immigration physicals, breast and cervical cancer screening and services for people with disabilities. Access Community Health Network operates multiple community health center locations in low-income neighborhoods throughout the Chicago region, providing its health care expertise to a massive populace, most of them uninsured. The network is comprised of more than 50 Joint Commission-accredited community health centers in the region.
