Dorchester County Emergency Medial Services provides services to the public that preserve life, improve health and promote the safety of citizens and visitors, who live, learn, work and play in the community. It provides patient care services, public awareness and education, proactive safety interventions and hazards readiness services. Dorchester County Emergency Medial Services has a special operations division that performs drug screening services. It also operates a training center that plans, develops, organizes and conducts several programs for the general public.
