Bad situation today. To teach how to handle a banking issue. My husband wrote a check to our grandson. We have numerous accounts at Regions. When the check was presented the cashier was going to charge him an $11.00 fee because he did not have an account with Regions. This would make him $11.00 short on the cash amount he needed. We did not know a bank charges the payee a fee if the check is drawn on that bank. The bank manager handled this for us, but the event left me with a not so good feeling as to Regions policies about checks written on their accounts. NO LOCAL PHONE NUMBER IN OUR LOCAL PHONE BOOK DID NOT HELP THE SITUATION.. PLEASE CONSIDER PUTTING ONE ON YOUR WEBSITE AT LEAST. I CAN NOT CONVERSE WITH A "FAX" MACHINE.
