Saturday evening, May 4, 2014, looking forward to a great meal at Applebee's but couldn't get served. There were several open booths but according to the girl taking down the reservations, the manager didn't want anyone seated because the kitchen was overwhelmed with orders. Instead of giving those of us waiting a booth and taking drink orders, they chose to have people stack up at the door. The gal taking down names, was very unprofessional and made those of us waiting feel like we were a real inconvenience. We found somewhere else to eat in Sullivan after we heard the registration gal comment to the hostess she was happy the people ahead of us chose to go somewhere else. After hearing her snide remark, we left too with a very bad taste in the mouth! The manager and the registration gal should be better trained in good customer service and the kitchen should be better staffed. At the very least, the manager should have explained the situation and made us feel welcome. HE DID NOT!!!

Our visit at this restaurant found it clean and the food good, but the service was very slow. We remarked to each other that it was a good thing that we were not in a hurry. This is why we give it a four star rating. We will visit there again.
