Founded in 1995, Austin High School serves students in grades nine through 12. The school offers a variety of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, dance, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, and track and field. Its cheerleading squad participates in various national competitions. The school also offers a variety of technology-based electives, such as Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Microsoft FrontPage, MS Office, C++ and Web authoring. In addition, the school conducts classes in broadcast journalism, photojournalism, accounting, business law, international marketing, entrepreneurship, floral design, health sciences, agricultural education, interior design, environmental sciences and aquatic science. Austin High School offers fine arts, orchestra, dance, art, theater, and speech and drama classes. The school is a part of the Fort Bend Independent School District. Austin High School is located in Sugar Land, Texas.
