Dr. Paula Mendez earned her D.D.S degree from Universidad Javeriana, School of Dentistry, Colombia. From the same institution she completed her first Postgraduate Program in Endodontics in 1995. For 12 years in her native country, Dr. Mendez maintained her private practice; she was a clinical associate professor and president of her regional Endodontic Association.In 2010, she pursued specialty training at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, where she earned her Certificate of Specialist in Endodontics receiving the highest recognition, the Grossman Award. She has also taught at the Penn Dental Microscope Training Center where dentists from around the world come to train in microendodontics and microsurgery. She has been member of the Distance Learning Committee of the American Association of Endodontists and is currently serving as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She lectures National and Internationally.Dr. Mendez is board eligible and is a specialist member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, the American Association of Endodontists, and the Houston Academy of Endodontists. In her free time, Dr. Mendez enjoys traveling and the outdoors with her husband Jorge and her sons Jose and Felipe. She is fluent in both English and Spanish

My experience could not have been better.
This was my second root canal and the experience here was night and day over my first. I was very comfortable and fully understood the procedure.
the experience was great and no pain
Dr Mendez was wonderful in quickly diagnosing and performing my root canal. She and all of her staff were very good and explaining everything which helped to keep me calm. If I ever have to have another root canal, I would absolutely come back to Dr. Mendez at Endodontic Partners.

I am simply afraid of Dentist due to a horrible experience with one years ago. Dr. Mendez has renewed my faith in dentist. She was extremely professional, kind, and reassuring. Her assistant Brittany is so amazing. She and Dr. Mendez has such a kind and caring spirit. I felt safe in their care. Just wanted to note that the office staff is so friendly and professional. As my first time having a root canal, Dr. Mendez was thorough, patient and informative regarding any questions I had about the procedure and what my options were going forward. The procedure was quick and painless and Dr. Mendez, her assistants and staff were caring, thoughtful and helpful throughout the process. Will recommend going forward!

Excellent experience with Dr. Mendez. I had some pain that came up a few months after the procedure. Dr. Mendez was always willing to see me and followed up with me for months to make sure everything was healing well. All is good now and she has been great though out the whole process.
