Western Tidewater Regional Jail is a correctional facility that provides care, custody and support to inmates. It works to improve the safety and security of the residents of the City of Franklin, City of Suffolk and Isle of Wight County in Virginia. The facility offers religious and nutrition services, as well as an inmate trustee program. Western Tidewater Regional Jail also administers inmate work programs that provide a source of inmate labor to assist in public and community work. Western Tidewater Regional Jail coordinates weekend and medical fees programs. It is governed by the city of Suffolk in Virginia.
