I came to Marian Estates about a year ago, after being very ill, and in and out of the hospital. I decided to come to Marian Estates because I had heard great things about the facility, as well as I needed the nursing care provided. Once I arrived, I instantly felt safe and secure, and have found the stay to be wonderful. I am glad to report that the care has been fantastic and the staff treats me very well. I am striving to become more independent, and the staff is working hard to help me achieve that goal.

My husband and I came to Assisted Living at Marian Estates in 2007. When my husband required more substantial nursing care, he moved to the Reece Healthcare Center and I moved to one of the Independent Living cottages within easy walking distance. It has been a wonderful place that has worked out nice to be so close to each other while he receives the level of care he needs.

After looking for a year and a half from Eugene, OR to Centralia, WA - we decided Marian Estates was the right place for us. We were looking for a community that offered the full continuum of care, was safe, secure, economically feasible and could afford us a quality of life we desired. At Marian Estates, as Independent Living residents, we can do as little or as much as we want. We made the decision to come to Marian Estates as a gift to our seven children. When the time comes, our children won't have to make arrangements on their behalf.

My mother was a resident there for three months. Thank you, CNAs, all the LPNs, and all the others who were so helpful and showed such compassion. During her times of need and comforting, the staff were always there, ready to help or just to check in on her or sit with her for a while. They showed remarkable skills, compassion and above all had such a sense of devotion. They also all had the ability to show their sense of humor, which my mom enjoyed.

My mother has been living at Marian Estates for the past three years. She started out by living in the independent area and moved into the assisted living portion when her medical needs changed. She is now living at the Reece Healthcare Center. As a family member of a resident who has progressed through all the different kinds of living arrangements offered at Marian Estates - we have received wonderful treatment from the hardworking direct care staff. My mother has gotten top of the line help from all the caregivers at Reece Healthcare Center. I have also received support in having to make one of the most emotional decisions in my life. They gave me reassurance with their open hearts and kind words that my mother would be okay. I have nothing but the most respect and thanks for the wonderful job they are doing. They are trying their hardest to provide the best quality of life and care to residents that live there. I think they are doing a spectacular job!
