Avotec manufactures and supplies audio, visual and stimulation systems for MRI, fMRI and MEG. Its eye imaging systems can be used in combination with its visual systems to generate a video image of a patient s eye or eyes, while simultaneously providing a visual stimulus. The eye image can be used with video based eye trackers to provide tracking information. Avotec offers audio systems for clinical applications where patient comfort is paramount. Audio calibration, equalizer balanced outputs, calibration tones and other features can be added to its audio systems. Several visual systems are available to present visual stimuli. The systems differ in binocular vision presentations, camera-based eye imaging and video-based eye imaging. Additionally, Avotec offers an integrated audio-visual system, which includes a video system so the patients can see the operator, as well as an audio headset so MRI patients can talk to their friends.
