He majored in Biology at George Mason University and continued his education at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2003. During his time at VCU, Dr. Thomas completed an externship in the hospital oral surgery clinic. After graduation, he joined Thomas Family Dentistry and became the owner in 2014. He has pursued advanced training in implant and restorative dentistry in order to bring the best service and treatment to his patients.

- General DentistryDr. Daneya Laing was born and raised in Fort Valley, Shenandoah County, Virginia. She attended Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, Virginia and earned an Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She enjoyed a career as a dental hygienist for many years. She later completed a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2013 from Old Dominion University and attended George Mason University to fulfill prerequisite coursework prior to earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2020 from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. During dental school, she completed a senior selective clinical course in advanced and surgical periodontics. Upon graduation, she was awarded The Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics and The Academy of General Dentistry Award for excellence in General Dentistry.
