Summit Achievement is a licensed outdoor residential treatment center. The center serves students between the ages of 13 and 19, helping them to understand the consequences of personal decisions and past behaviors and addresses individual and family issues. Its traditional academic sessions include instruction in skills development, monitoring goal setting and individual growth. Summit Achievement also provides a range of recreational activities, such as hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing, and rock and ice climbing. The center offers treatment planning, group counseling, individual therapy and peer support services. It provides drug and alcohol education and information about symptoms, cause, effect and healing of chemical dependency. In addition, the center offers clinical supervision, psychiatric, medication management and expedition services. Summit Achievement is located in Stow, Maine.
