We celebrated my sister-in-laws birthday (no numbers available) at the Country House. The owner Bob and the staff treated us like we were his family. The meal was the outstanding..The crab cakes were the best I ever had (and I have eaten crab cakes in Maryland, Maine, etc but these were the best ever)....He brought an appetizer platter that had Ahai Tuna "pops"..baby lamb chops, kielbasa on a stick, shrimpcabobs, etc...all delicious...I had the braised short ribs which were better tan the same meal that we had 2 weeks ago at the CIA (Culinary institute of America in Hyde Park, NY) which is one of the best places to eat on the east coast. Then...he had the chef make a homemade birthday cake with fresh blackberries and strawberries that was to die for. I love this place..everyone should go at least once (50 or 100 times would be better)...take it from a fat guy...YUUUUUMMMMMMM

The staff is extremely professional and you're not rushed through dinner. Dinner is served at a relaxing pace and the food is at the perfect temperature, the soup is just right, the salad is cold, and the main course is hot. If you have a bottle of wine on the table, you will not have to top off your own glass.

This is the most enjoyable and romantic restaurant I have ever been to. The food is so good and the atmosphere is gorgeous. The service is by far, one of it's best features. This place is never going to disappoint. If you want to impress your friends or relatives, make a reservation. Five Stars !!
