I waited in my home following ups tracking for a package that I absolutely needed to receive before I went out of town. I never left the apartment, no knock, no doorbell ring and the next think I saw on tracking was first attempt was made, will attemp again tomorrow. Since I was going to be away I tried to see if it could be delivered again later that day and find out why the driver did not knock or ring the doorbell. There is no way to contact the local customer center, the national 800 number could not track the driver or get the national number, I could not have them attempt delivery the next day because I would not be home, the only option was to hold it for a week and pick it up at the customer center. And I paid for next day air in the first place!!!

Waited all day after taking the day off from work to sign for my very important and expensive package. When the truck finally came around 6PM, it drove by and did not stop. When I checked the status online, it read, "First attempt made." I phoned the 800 number and told them the driver never stopped and I needed my package today, their response was he would try again tomorrow. If he was too lazy to deliver the first time, how would it differ tomorrow I asked the call center. There was no answer except they would call me back. About 30 minutes later I received a call which stated the same, it would be "Attempted" again tomorrow. This is the worst customer service I have experienced from a supposed professional organization. The package was paid in full and they failed to deliver, and the call center was not helpful. I would never use UPS again nor would I recommend it.

Been waiting for 3 days for a parcel pick and the driver lied that he was here on Wednesday
