A native of Stockton, Don developed a love for BBQ when he and his best friend Noah starting smoking ribs back in 2008. He's very passionate about the California Style BBQ that he spent years perfecting. Many competitions and a ton of friendships made. Don has grown from weekend barbecuer to a small shop owner, to a pitmaster on the Miracle Mile. Fat City has had many names over the years but one amazingly passionate person behind it all, Don King. So come on down to the Miracle Mile, have a plate of our BBQ and a cold brew. We use the low and slow method for all our meats. You can try them all with 'The Pits' or choose your favorites by a 2-or-3 meat plate. Our signature sandwiches feature Genova milk rolls and fresh veggies, topped with your choice of delicious meat.
