No one likes to go to the dentist, but Going to P.W.D.G. was a pleasant experience. The Staff was was very helpful. Everything was explained to me in detail. Friendly and always smiling made you feel more relaxed. I can't say enough about the staff ! Dr Norton , wonderful.Jenn, Melissa and jessica deserve kootos . And big pat on the back ! I went for my 6 mo check up/cleaning knowing I needed a tooth extracted. They said they would call to set an appt w/ oral surgeon. Never got a call & ended up with a toothache, so called . Appt was made and I was told my co-pay was $25. When I got there, it was $75. They said there was a $50 consultation fee, which I questioned, but paid. I asked why I had to pay a consultation fee since I had already been diagnosed and they said there is always a consultation fee. I checked my insurance when I got home, and the fee was only $45. They say they'll credit it back to the card I used to pay, but won't say when. This is not the first time they've overcharged me. To top it all off, they are refusing to clean my teeth because the dentist wants me to have $760 worth of work done which includes laser, root planning & antibiotics (they know I'm allergic). Phoned ins co to see what I could do about getting my teeth cleaned & they advised me to switch dental offices. I think I?ll take that advice!
