Pleasant Grove Elementary School, established in 1996, is a public school offering educational instruction to students in grades kindergarten through five. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students and is a part of the Henry County School District. Its instructional program includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, health, physical education, art and music. The school s colors are black and silver and its mascot is wolf. Its parent-teacher association organizes the parent volunteer program and provides various other services and support for the school. The school recognizes students with awards at the end of each grading period for accomplishments in attendance, academics and responsibility. Pleasant Grove Elementary School is a member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is located in Stockbridge, Ga. It is also approved by the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
