  Jim Macie has served as one of the Atlanta area’s premier family, divorce and domestic relations lawyers. He has achieved an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®. A graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, Jim has chaired the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and, as early as 1984, authored the “Family Law Chapter” of the Georgia Lawyers Basic Practice Handbook. Jim is a frequent speaker on domestic relation topics at Continuing Legal Education seminars, having delivered presentations on “Child Custody and Visitation,” “The Utilization of Private Investigators in Domestic Relation Cases,” as well as basic overview and legal update lectures on ever changing area of Family Law. He has also been honored by his peers with selection among Georgia Super Lawyers.
