Jake J. Porter, M.D., orthopedic surgeon at Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery, received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee and an orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before joining Southeast Georgia Health System, Dr. Porter was inducted into the Tennessee Gamma Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, a rare honor for a third year medical student. Dr. Porter currently specializes in foot and ankle surgery.
