I've eaten in sushi bars in Japan, California, along the east US coast and all over the midwest, and these people do as good a job as nearly any I've experienced. I've eaten at Matsu Ya several times and they are consistently great on food and service. Their fish is very very fresh, but of course isn't in Wisconsin what you would get along the ocean; but their creativity, style and use of materials at hand make up for it. Great sushi bar, seating area, and authentic Japanese. Clean, sharp, and well recommended.
