"Great business relationship" Duke Realty and Clayton and Associates have a successful relationship and we are pleased to recommend them for any search. Paul has successfully filled over a dozen positions within our organization. The positions span from Executive level to Management level positions. The type of candidates Paul has found for Duke Realty, speaks for itself. He found candidates that had the potential to move to the next step. Many of them have taken promotions or are seen as Senior Leaders at Duke Realty. Paul takes the time to understand the Company culture, which overall provided us with candidates that fit our Companys mission and goals. To say that Paul was a "dog with a bone" is an understatement. I was an 18-year commercial real estate veteran and was not remotely looking to change positions within the industry. Through Paul's prospecting efforts he acquired my name as someone who might be a good fit for the VP of Industrial Leasing at Duke-Minneapolis. The first 3 times Paul contacted me I wouldn't even consider a simple meeting to discuss the position with a local Senior VP. Paul was professionally persistent and on the fourth try he convinced me to have lunch with the man who would later become my boss and the rest is history. We hit it off and I've been with Duke Realty since November 2005. Paul sensed he had a good fit and was determined to make it happen despite early rejection. Through his positive attitude and determined efforts he put together a relationship that both sides of the equation would acknowledge has been grade "A." Additionally, Paul was a good communicator and helped both sides navigate some potentially frictional employment negotiations. His cool head and pleasant demeanor kept the lines of communication open, emotions in-check and ultimately the deal got done. I owe Paul a debt of gratitude because the move to Duke has been nothing but positive and if he had accepted my early rejections it would have never happened.
