I was excited to find a fairly local place to buy the rose that I really wanted for my garden. I called to ensure that they carried the one I wanted. First time i called I was told to "Call back when Kim is in". Okay, a bit odd that all the staff didn't have a way to see what they carried. So I called back at a different time two days later "Call back and ask for Kim". Okay... waited another day and called back "Sorry, Kim is out, call back later". Really? Fianlly on my FOURTH call, I annoyed someone enough that they found the information I wanted. Yes they do carry that rose! "Excellent I'll be by later this month to buy one". I know roses shouldn't be planted until mid May, but I was planning on keeping it inside as I only have certain times I can drive that far. So on Aprin 28th, I drove 20 miles to Eckert's. Two employees were sitting around eating chips by the flowers, when I finally broke up their conversation they said "yes?" in a snobby tone. I asked for the rose. "

One of my favorite places to buy plants. Love to see what is new every year and the prices are reasonable. Helpful staff. Live in Taylor, but have to make sure I get out here at several times every year.

Shopping at Eckert's Greenhouse is always a pleasant experience. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very helpful! We can't wait for spring and planting season so we can see what's new for 2009!
