Formed in 1963, Curtis Metal Finishing Company operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Commercial Steel Treating Corporation. Curtis specializes in the application of engineered coating son fasteners and small stampings. Among one of the largest bulk metal finishing operation in the Midwest, Curtis operates three facilities in the Michigan cities of Sterling Heights and Macomb, and Machesney Park, Ill. The company offers a wide variety of coatings to meet any desired level of performance including extreme durability, protection from galvanic corrosion, friction modifications for repeatable torque performance and minimal risk of hydrogen embrittlement. Curtis s goal is to continue to lead the heat-treating and metal-finishing industry.
