Took Volkswagen in for a simple car inspection, failed inspection which we knew it may. Turns out they broke rear brakes when inspecting them, and never bothered to explain this before we drove the car. Little to say we are lucky to be home after such a fiasco. Avoid this shop, the level of care to your car is low and they will attempt to shift blame to you. Shame you cant give them no stars.

Clems is a professional family owned garage in Stephens City with a fantastic reputation.
I called from work to see when I can have my state inspection done. They said "right now, bring it in". I get there, they take the information. Thirty minutes later the car is still outside. I said "if you can't do it right away I have to go back to work" and was told "he's getting it in next". Nope, wasn't next, it was 15 minutes before I go back and say I?m taking my car. They said ?We can pull it in now if you?ll wait just a sec?. Ten minutes later they pull my car in, I see the mechanic get out and walk over to work on another car! I told them to get my car out front immediately. While waiting for that to happen a woman overheard me on the phone with my boss explaining that I would be late getting back. She said she had been there an hour and a half waiting for an inspection! Not only do I have to wait, but they took me before her. Never go to this place. They will lie to keep you there.
