South Pemiscot High School is an educational institution that conducts academic learning sessions for students. It employs a staff of more than 20 teachers and paraprofessionals, including a counselor and adaptive education specialist. The institution conducts classes in various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. South Pemiscot High School provides instruction in industrial arts, Spanish, band, music, and arts and crafts. It also has a library that stocks books under several titles. The institution conducts physical education and French sessions, as well as has an alumni association that enables class reunions. South Pemiscot High School has a student activities council and honor society. In addition, it offers various sports activities, such as volleyball, softball, cheerleading, basketball and baseball. The institution is a part of South Pemiscot R-V Schools, which additionally operates elementary school campuses.
