- • Extraction of any or all Wisdom Teeth (3rd Molars) - It is highly recommended to have these teeth removed during the teenage/young adult years. • Removal of any and/or all other teeth - We strongly suggest you visit a dentist twice a year to maintain good oral hygiene. Your dentist can assist with a deep cleaning that you generally cannot maintain on your own. If any teeth need to be removed due to decay, our highly skilled surgeons can help. • Major and Minor Bone Grafting - Over a period of time, the jawbone associated with missing teeth atrophies or is reabsorbed. This often causes troubles for the teeth surrounding the missing tooth/teeth. Bone grafting is a procedure done to "build" new bone in preparation for Dental Implants. • Facial Trauma - Our dental specialist performs the proper treatment of facial injuries. These surgeons must be well versed in emergency care, acute treatment & long term reconstruction techniques & rehabilitation not just for physical reasons but emotional as well. • Oral Pathology - The inside of the mouth is normally lines with a special type of skin that is smooth and coral pink in color. Any alteration in this appearance could be a warning sign for a pathological problem. A small piece of tissue may be removed and sent to a lab for processing to diagnose any problem. • Dental Implants are changing the way people live: East Georgia Center for Oral & Facial Surgery conveniently located in Statesboro, GA and Savannah, GA practices a full scope of Oral surgery with expertise ranging from Wisdom Teeth extraction and general tooth extractions to Dental Implant Placement and corrective jaw surgery. Are you tired of not being about to enjoy crunching in to that apple or ear of corn? Dental Implants are now the "standard of care" when it comes to replacing lost teeth. Working closely with your dentist, your Dental Implant will look and feel like your original teeth so you can once again enjoy all the foods you have grown to love? Say "goodbye" to ill-fitting dentures and talk with us about Dental Implants.
