Tottenville High School is governed by The New York City Department of Education. Founded in 1878, the school offers programs in science and humanities. It also provides specialized programs in science research, performing and visual arts, and automotive, medical and dental laboratory technologies. Tottenville High School offers courses in robotics and finance, as well as internship and collaborative opportunities with various institutions. The school provides foreign language courses in Italian, Latin and Spanish. Additionally, Tottenville High School offers advanced placement courses in biology, chemistry, environmental science and world history.
