I would give 0 stars, if I could. They are listed as a participant in a low cost spay program. When I spoke with them to make an appointment, they told me to bring the non profit certificate and $18 for an e-collar. When I brought my dog into their office with the low cost certificate in hand, they told me that it covers anesthesia and the spay, but not the pain killers... They said the cost of the pain killers and e-collar would be $350. $350 for painkillers??? REALLY... When I got there, the first price they quoted was $450 to include baby teeth extraction and pre op bloodwork... They told me $350 was the bare minimum with the low cost certificate. I do not think Staten Island Vet Group cares about pets and their owners trying to do the right thing and be responsible. They are misleading about hidden costs.
