One of the leading providers of health care services in the United States, Staten Island Care Center has been operational for more than 25 years. A nonprofit nursing and convalescent home, it has been operational for more than 40 years and serves over 10,000 patients. Located in Staten Island, N.Y., the center provides a wide variety of services, such as residential care, educational programs, therapeutic activities and recreational solutions. It is approved by the New York Department of Human Services and Department of Public Welfare. Staten Island Care Center is affiliated with the National Association of Private Schools for Exceptional Children, Council for Exceptional Children and Autism Society of America. The center also offers 24-hour emergency care, skilled nursing facilities, physician services, personal care; language, speech, respiratory, occupational and physical therapies; diet counseling; social work and pharmacy services; and dentistry solutions.
