Founded in 1989, our firm has been established to comprehensively assess traffic and transportation needs and to provide appropriate design solutions. What distinguishes our firm from others is the extent and depth of our transportation engineering experience, our knowledge of and ability to navigate regulatory processes, our ability to provide creative solutions, and our experience and proficiency in preparing construction plans. Trans Associates provides traffic engineering, multi-modal transportation engineering, parking studies, roadway design and traffic signal design services. Trans Associates has performed many transportation planning studies for large mixed-use developments, brownfield site redevelopments and municipal comprehensive plans. Trans Associates has extensive experience with educational and medical institutional projects, from master planning and visioning studies, to traffic and parking studies of individual projects, to design and preparation of construction documents. Trans Associates is a recognized regional leader in these services, as well as in community coordination and public presentations. Our service area focuses primarily within Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, New York, and West Virginia from our three offices located in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
