We tried the bakery about noon on a Saturday and there was no variety. A huge kitchen took up half the square footage of the restaurant, but was closed. While the display case was nearly empty with our only option being a blueberry muffin. The muffin was nothing exciting. I agree our town needs a new bakery, but preferably one with a well stocked display case. Also the whole room and display case looks plain and uninviting.

Today we stopped in the Y's bakery. It was a beautiful place and the workers were all kind and the girls up front were very sweet, helpful. We bought the entire plate of Maple Bars and Maple Bites. They were phenomenally delicious!!! We also bought their bread. It was also delicious. We thank you for the great moment. ~ Gina.

The bakery is nice. It has amazing homemade maple bars. Their homemade bread I bought reminded me of my Grandma's. I loved my first visit there. The girls working behind the counter were very nice and helpful. It was a lovely moment. Thank you Y's Bakery. PS I tried to submit this and it won't let you unless you put anonymously. ~ Gina.

There has been hype about everyone trying this wonderful new bakery in town. It even got a place on the front page of the towns newspaper, but I believe that whoever wrote the article hadn't actually tried this bakery. When you enter the doors you expect it to smell like baking is actually happening but it doesn't. The small display case is anything but full of treats....there is nothing to look at or entice you . They list on the wall there are doughnuts...there was one small plate of thin maple bars and one with the round doughnuts with glaze... I purchased a maple bar which is half the size of any other stores. When you bite into it the glaze cracks off because it is so hard. That was the only bit that was taken. It was awful and those were supposed to be fresh. Don't waste your money and don't fall for the hype of the town. People obviously don't know what a good bakery is.

Truly a must to try all the good breads, cookies, ice cream, homemade soups, and pies. All made with more than flour or sugar as the place gives a warm welcome making you feel like it's home. The owner, Vyonne, may even give a song & hug to lift your spirits. Excellent food, good service & loved the experience.
