Montcalm County Sheriff s Office is a law enforcement agency that offers security and safety services for residents. It administers a detective bureau that investigates felonies and crimes, such as kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct, murders and armed robberies. The office has a road patrol division that handles criminal, noncriminal and traffic offenses. The patrol division also provides traffic enforcement, community policing and marine safety services. Montcalm County Sheriff s Office manages a victim support team that responds to fatal car crashes, suicides, homicides and other critical events.
