Montcalm county road commission is totally worthless. The crews you watch don't do appropriate class of work. We have the worst roads and they don't know nothing at all about plowing snow say they don't have any money but they do only they have worked it all into wages benefits and retirement and since they got there union they have got worse. Need to get rid of the worthless people running the county and start over.

I called on Mon. 6/11/12 about Vickeryville Rd. North of m-46. Said to the lady on the phone that it needed some TLC and could use more chloride. Today is 6/14/12 and still nothing done. I called last year about the bridge on Edgar Rd. between vickeryville and pine grove rd. that it was like the bridge had sunk. You have to creep over it or you'll break the belts in the tires. Still nothing has been done to date. Just wondering if I should get ahold of a State Rep. and see if this will change anything. Or is the person behind the desk taking the phone calls for the Road Commission NOT letting anyone know of problems out on the roads. Seems pretty sad that you go 1 county over and the roads aren't in this bad a shape. Hmm makes me wonder if anyone is working for the Road Comm. are they taking apps.. It just seems that no matter what a person does the road remains the same. It is a numbered rd. you'd think it'd be taken care of better. If my struts go bad I know where to send the bill.
