The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District is one of several intermediate districts in Michigan. It serves more than five local public school districts that enroll over 14,000 students, as well as nearly 10 private schools that serve approximately 900 students. Additionally, the school district operates three facilities that serve students in the areas of special education, general education and career technical education. The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District governs Carson City Crystal Area Schools, Central Montcalm Public School, Greenville Public Schools and Lakeview Community Schools. Its schools offer various academic subjects, including special education, English, history, foreign languages, science, math, computer skills and physical education. In addition, the district s schools provide guidance and counseling services. The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District is based in Stanton, Mich.
