Located in Standish, Maine, Maine School Administrative District #6 Transportation Department has more than 50 buses providing services along various routes in the Standish, Hollis, Limington, Steep Falls, Buxton in Maine. The transportation department also owns more than 10 vans and over 5 spare buses and employs nearly 70 bus drivers. It is a part of the Maine School Administrative District #6 and transports more than 4,000 students to and from schools each day. The department provides transportation services for sports and field trips. Its buses are inspected by the state police twice a year and drivers undergoes randon drug testing four times in a school year.
