Brookdale Nursery School is a wonderful school. My two year old daughter LOVES it. The teachers are absolutely wonderful with the children; very caring and gentle. The class is a great mix of kids that all get along and like to play together. The other parents are also very nice and in a short time, I feel like we have all known each other for a long time. It's a very nurturing and friendly environment. The principal is very hands on and cares deeply about making the school experience a very positive one for all the children. I highly recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for a good Nursery school.

We love Brookdale School! All three of our children have been/are students at Brookdale. The teachers are kind, warm, patient and nurturing. They have an organized day during which the children learn an appropriate preschool curriculum of ABC's, shapes and colors while painting, cutting, pasting and writing. Everyday the kids come home with colorful multi-textured projects they are very proud to have completed - even the two year olds! They also learn how to follow rules, negotiate appropriately with their peers and make friends. We were thrilled with the easy transition our son made into Kindegarten. He was very well prepared in all aspects- reading readiness, listening, following rules etc. The director at Brookdale is accessible daily, genuinely concerned with each child's well being and extraordinarily accommodating. The atmosphere is ideal for preschoolers and I would (and have) recommended it without hesitation or reservation.

This is the best nursery school in town! I have my second child here and he absolutely loves it. He goes 5 days a week from 9-3 and never complains. I will continue to send my third child here. They are extemely flexible and the staff is top notch. When my first son went to kindergarten, the teacher was so impressed on how prepared he was for school and asked which nursery school he went to. I would highly recommend this school to everyone!!!!

My child has been a student at Brookdale for the past 2 years. We are thrilled with the school. The teachers are nurturing and warm, and my son looks forward to going to school each day. I am so grateful that my son's first experience with school has been such a positive and wonderful one. Any time I have had a question or concern, the director has been readily accessible and helpful. Furthermore, Brookdale has helped to reinforce the values we try to instill our family, such as courtesy, kindness, and responsibility. I recommend Brookdale to everyone who is looking for a nursery school in the area.

BEST Nursery school in the area. They have been in business for decades and some of their teachers have been there as long. Everywhere I go I hear another family raving about their Brookdale experience.

We had a terrible experience there and know of atleast 3 other parents who removed their kids from the Twos program there. The Program Director proved to be untrustworthy and treated the well-being of my toddler lightly. I had a very different impression of her in the beginning only to be disappointed. She gave my toddler's class a new teacher without informing us and also the second teacher was rotating (not permanent), something that wasnt told to us and something that is not recommended. All this was fine but on the third class session I went down 5 mins after class began to hear the new teacher (who had no prior early childhood experience), screaming loudly at my toddler for crying and throwing up (and I didnt know she had being doing so!). She would also refuse to help even potty-trained kids go to the restrooms and all this under watchful eyes. We were given a replacement after asking for reimbursement and even the new teacher was a very poor pick with a terrible attitude.
