Provided by YP.comMy sons 2005 Ford Explorer started running badly just after I arrived in St. George to deliver it to him from Pahrump Nevada. I took it to St. George Auto Service and spoke with Eric about the symptoms right about the time they were closing. The next morning Eric called me and told me it was the fuel pump that went out. I knew I had put a new fuel pump in the vehicle about a year ago. Eric said he found the reciept for the replaced fuel pump in the glove compartment and it was still covered under a Napa car care warranty. I had the previous fuel pump replaced in Pahrump Nevada. He said I had approximately 10 days of warranty left and since he wasn't a Napa car care shop he recommended I take it to one in St. George and not have to pay anything. He didn't have to do that and I would have paid his shop to do it in the area of 850$. He is a trustworthy man and I appreciate his honesty. I told him between two of my sons and all their friends that live in St. George I will spread the word of his honesty and that his shop will be the one we always use in the future. Thank you St. George Auto Repair.

Provided by YP.comI needed the water pump replaced on my van. They completed the repair quickly and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them. Dirk Warhurst, the owner is a peron you can trust.

Provided by YP.comWe moved here a year and a half ago or so. Having an old Lexus with 200,000 miles on it, I needed to find a good auto shop and mechanic I could trust. Not always an easy task. A neighbor recommended St. George auto repair. I took my car in for a tune up. My initial "trust" test is based on a couple things. I asked if they ever worked for the IRS (if the answer is no), then I go to step 2 and check their shop. If the shop is kept clean, and the mechanic takes care of his tools, then I'm good to go.
The tune up was done. My old car has run great ever since. Have had a couple other things done (alignment, tire balancing, front end work), all at a fair cost and with good results.
You have to have a good local auto shop you can trust and I have found that with Dave and Eric at St. George Auto Repair. Good guys you can trust with your car repairs.

Provided by YP.comguys here are faithful and honest, I was traveling through the city and I felt worry about the brakes, the wheel started shaking whenever I push the brake , then I decided to stop by any auto repairs to check on the brake pads , and I went to this place, the man on the cashier told me after he checked out the car that I don't need to change the brake pads . and the wheel just shaking because of the hot weather. He could change the pads and take 110$ but he didn't because he is faithful.

Provided by YP.comI have been going good to St George Auto Repair since they opened and I have had Dave work on all my vehicles since we moved here in 2008. I personally feel they are the mist honest repair shop in town. They have had MANY opportunities to take advantage of me or family members and they never have. If you need an honest opinion or repairs I promise you can't go wrong with St George Auto Repair.

Provided by YP.comWe are from out of town and brought our car that had over heated to this shop, they were very helpful, and honest. We happen to meet the owner, he was super friendly and does his best to make sure he runs a reputable business... We were grateful to have our car repaired honestly, and in the least expensive way possible. If you are in need of help away from home- these guys are a pretty safe bet.

Provided by YP.comMy wife was traveling alone through southern Utah and her car over heated. She was able to get to St, George and to St, George Auto Repair just before they closed. The guys were great and made sure she got to her hotel safely. The next morning, they quickly repaired the problem and got her on her way. I can't say enough about how professional and helpful they were and it was very much appreciated!

Provided by YP.comSt George Auto Repair did a fantastic job on my wheel bearing and driver front axle on my 1999 Chevrolet Prizm. It was quick (2 hours), easy and affordable. They could have repaired the boot on my axle but the labor would have been more so they recommended a new axle. (By the way, it's like I'm driving on a cloud now. It's so smooth. There's a little thrumming in the passenger axle that is occasional and I can't wait to come back and have them do it too!) Choosing a new axle was cheaper and came with anything else that could have worn out. We talked it out and despite all my study, long effort, and work in the car industry he still had more to teach me. I'm a Do It Yourself kind of guy. I've only had 2 repairs by going to a mechanic for 8 years on any of my older vehicles. So when I give them an A plus you can tell that I really mean it. They're personable. The customers they attract are great people too.
