This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Michigan. I was originally from metro Detroit where there are tons of restaurants. And this is hands down the best. Food is ALWAYS perfect and the prices are fair. Also the wait staff has always been great.

Diamond in the rough.

We visit the area two weeks every year and EVERY year we stop here! Sometimes twice! My husband is picky and found lots to eat, my two year old couldn't get enough of the salad and seafood Alfredo. They charge great prices and when they say crab meat don't expect little pieces like Olive Garden. We each had 4-6 large pieces (approx length of a finger) of crab in our seafood alfredo!! Don't pass this place by!!

We expected a diamond in the rough. Studied the menu prior to traveling 45 miles, excellent menu, prices seemed to indicate a cut above the rest. Actual experience was terrible. Was told could only buy wine by bottle; not true; only 2 choices of salad dressing; too many breadcrumbs in crab cakes; pan-fried fish burnt around edges; vegetables rubbery; very small portion of bread, then told would have to pay for more; manager rude and very poor customer service. The waitress told me they don't provide extra bread because people don't eat it, the manager told me that the bread was expensive, that I don't have to like it and I don't have to come back.

This is a diamond in the rough! Traveling up US23 with beautiful views of Lake Huron then all of a sudden the sign for Rosa's. The steaks were perfect, fresh salad greens, great variety on the menu and the drinks were wonderful. The service was fun and efficient. The locals must be thrilled to have such a gem!
