Not the worst cafe in SpringTown, but close to it. We have been going to this cafe on and off for eight years just to see if they have improved there food service. Sorry to say, but they haven't. Its impossible to get hot food all at one time, and the waitress are pretty much feckless as they do not understand anything about serving and service. We believe that they do not understand that the clients pay for their wages, rent, overhead and supplies. Likewise, we give them a rating of 1 for their food that is just above zero that is the rating for garbage.

I like this restaurant. Overall, the food is really good and they make a great burger. I only wish they had a website with their menu so folks could order takeout.

highly recommended. It is not a suit and tie type of resturant but It is exactly what I would expect for a family type resturant. The food is above standard. My wife and I have now been 3 times and each time, NOT DISAPPOINTED. It is run by adults, unlike the previous resturant. It has the put the Wild Onion to shame, At least Shinola's knows how to cook food, Steak, vegetables, potatoes, french fried, BLTs and others. Thumbs way up for this place If all you want is a clean place, comfortable wait staff and good eating, Then this is the place to go. Only draw back that I'm sure will inprove down the road is the access road and parking. Needs gratting. W

I have been there several times and the food service and the quality of the food is never consistant. What happen to the Double J guys? That was a top notch place for the quality of service and food.Springtown does not have a good - non smoking restuarant. I hope Shinola's will learn and hopefully change.
