Hamlin Middle School is affiliated with the Springfield School District 19. Located in Springfield, Ore., the school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 400 students in grades six through eight. Founded in 1957, it offers a variety of programs, such as English, arts, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Hamlin Middle School also provides language arts, reading writing, and computer and health education programs. The school additionally provides keyboarding, industrial education, home economics, and orchestra and band programs. It has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
