Founded in 1977, Direction Service is a family support agency offering multiple programs including Family Support & Service Coordination, Information Services, Counseling Center and Center for Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Special Education (CADRE). Located in Eugene, Ore., the agency serves families having children with disabilities in Lane County. It provides assistance in coordinating delivery and reducing lifetime costs of services, meeting basic life needs, encouraging informed partnership between families and school districts and reducing family isolation. Its Counseling Center provides mental health services, including assessment, treatment planning, therapy and more.
