Aunt Ding's is a GREAT family restaurant. Warm and welcoming atmosphere and the food is fabulous. True "down home cooking" with wonderful breakfast specials (they serve breakfast until 2 PM). Coffee is delicious and the staff is terrific, especially Kim. The full-size meals are huge (you'll need a box, for sure) while the smaller portions are perfect. Their pancakes are yummy and everything is perfectly prepared. We just started visiting this restaurant nearly every Saturday in the last few months and have never been disappointed. Dinner is good, too, but their menu is a bit more limited. It's a lovely drive, too. Enjoy!
This restaurant has great food, great service and great atmosphere. I highly recommend it as a place to eat. Just outside of Springfield on Hwy 126. It's worth the drive!

I am a Chicken Fried Steak freak. It seems to be the only thing I order on any breakfast menu. So I finally got out to Aunt Ding's (it's really not that far away). They were understaffed and still made it out to my table to refill my coffee. You also have an unusual menu option for the CFS. You can get a LARGE portion for 8.75 or the SMALL for..uh...whatever. After a 10 minute longing, my LARGE order of CFS had arrived. Contents include: Two steaks (smothered in chunky, thick, rich and delicious sausage gravy), potatoes that look like part hash brown, part country style (crispy on the outside), two eggs (sunny side up), English muffin ('cos I like 'em). I also like to add a side of gravy for the taters. Oh. My. Goodness. Please give this place your business. Especially if you are a CFS'er. It is the best chicken fried steak I have ever had in Oregon. I hope you will feel the same.

It is a pleasure to find such a nice little restaurant with great food like this. The staff is great and the food is wonderful. The remodel, great food at affordable prices makes this a great place to go. And it really isn't that far either.
