By far the best martial arts studio I ve ever seen, and I ve seen very many all over the US. I started karate with the YMCA almost 30 years ago and eventually thought I was reasonably good. Then I went to a tournament and every karate school, including the Y class I was in at the time, got destroyed in every category by students from a school my mom hadn t heard of at the time. We eventually found that school, what would later become Blackbelt Karate & Kick Boxing, and I started learning what it really means to be a student of the martial arts. More importantly, I learned what it meant to be in a martial arts family. You will not find higher quality martial arts instruction for children or adults anywhere in the Springfield area. In fact, you will have a difficult time finding a better martial arts studio anywhere in the country.

Black Belt Karate & Kick Boxing is a wonderful place to learn martial arts skills. Master Binky Furstenberg is a great instructor and very knowledgeable about karate. He is wonderful with kids and they love him. I would recommend this dojo to anyone wanting to learn karate, self descipline and respect.
