General Info
Spirit Solar is a socially and environmentally responsible business based in Springfield MA, serving Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut with solar thermal installations, solar educational training, and third party verification of PV systems. One of the founding members of Spirit Solar, Mike Kocsmiersky, also founded the highly successful Kosmo Solar Inc. back in 2003. With over 15 years of experience designing and installing solar energy systems, he has teamed up with former employee and seasoned construction manager, Mark Albright, to form this new company. The company mission is to provide high value solar solutions while maintaining a business practice that is socially responsible and helps the regional community. The staff at Spirit Solar holds many licenses and training credentials, and has provided solar education to over five community colleges. As a result of their teaching experience, training skills, and the coursework that our principals have developed, we are able to maintain the highest level of installation quality and worker training. This enables Spirit Solar to reach out to partnering community agencies that are looking for guidance and partnership in their job training programs Spirit Solar strives to be environmentally sound, using recycled paper for all print medium, recycling all jobsite scrap, and finishing a job with no more than a shoebox full of trash. Spirit Solar also endeavors to buy locally when possible, hire locally owned firms, and to be a good citizen of the community by participating in many support organizations. We hope you choose Spirit Solar because your system design makes good fiscal sense, provides value, makes an environmental impact, and leaves you with the peace of mind that you are doing the right thing.
