  Melnychenko v. 84 Lumber, 424 Mass. 285 (1997).  This was a case of first impression involving same-sex sexual harassment that was won at trial and affirmed on appeal by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

  Rachel graduated from Western New England University School of Law in May 2022. While attending Western New England, Rachel participated in the Real Estate Clinic, which sparked her interest in real estate law. She excelled in this area and went on to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Real Estate Clinic the following year. In addition, Rachel received the CALI: Excellence for the Future Award in Municipal Land Use Law. Throughout law school, Rachel worked at local law firms honing her skills and applying her education.   Paul is an Associate with Egan, Flanagan and Cohen in the Litigation Department. Paul’s practice focuses on a range of civil issues, with an emphasis on civil rights, landlord-tenant disputes, land use, and small business matters. Litigation is a second career for Paul, who grew up in Southern Connecticut and attended UMass Amherst, where he graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
