Founded in 1960, JD Rivet & Co. Inc. is an independently owned, full-service roofing and sheet metal company. The company specializes in the installation and maintenance of commercial, industrial, institutional and residential roofing systems. Installation services offered by the company include various types of systems, such as thermoplastic, built-up roofing and modified bitumen. In addition, the firm provides restoration of historical buildings, new roof construction, full sheetmetal fabrication and customized preventive maintenance programs to optimize roof system performance. Some of its completed projects include the Hubbard Memorial Library, Franklin Greenfield Medical Center, Smith College and the South Congregational Church. JD Rivet & Co. Inc. received the Gold Circle Award for one of the Ten Most Outstanding Roofing Projects in the United States in 2008.
