very good doctors

doctors seem competent but patient management is not good. On two occasions when I appeared for an appointment I was told either I was mistaken about the date, or it had been changed (to several weeks in the future) without my having been notified. (They left a phone message which I did not receive and mailed notice of the change too late.) For this reason, and to cut down on travel, I transferred to another practice. This is no reflection on the doctors.

This practice has petty and vindictive patient care policies for patients who leave Pioneer Valley Urology to seek care elsewhere due to insurance changes, doctor retirement, etc. Once a patient leaves they are not allowed to return. As there are only two or three urological providers in Western Mass this can policy can leave patients unable to recieve care. What nice people.
