Located in Springfield, Mass., Center for Youth and Family Services, also known as CYFS, provides residential and respite care, home-based treatment and therapeutic after-school services for children between the ages of 6 and 19. It also provides individual and family therapies, as well as offers treatment services for adolescent females who suffer from abuse and neglect. The center additionally provides educational, social and vocational training services. Center for Youth and Family Services is a part of the Center for Human Development, which offers more than 45 programs for over 4,000 children, adults and families. It also offers violence prevention services in schools and neighborhoods. The center provides crisis assessment, emergency response and long-term foster care services.
