My mom and dad moved into SSL the first week in May, 2013. I cannot tell you in words how great this place is. My parents did more socializing in one week there than they had done in 2 years. My dad recently passed away and the staff and residents were wonderful to my mother during that time and now as she adjusts to life without him. I cannot say enough good about SSL. One day I said to one of the workers "You guys always have a smile on your face" and she responded "this is a great place to work and we have so much fun with the residents". Entertainment, bingo, manicures, crafts, dancing, family dessert reception, spaghetti dinners with families to name a few of the fun things they do. I feel very blessed to be able to have my mom there and not worry about mistreatment or missed medications or missed meals. They truly care about their residents. It is a family!
